Dolly Parton’s popular theme park celebrates its 40th anniversary season in East Tennessee and offer several discounts this summer for families.

You really don't need a reason to visit Dollywood, Dolly Parton's amusement park in the Great Smoky Mountains near her Tennessee hometown. But this year (2025) the park turns 40 along with Dollywood’s Splash Country water park celebrating 25 years, and Dolly Parton’s first resort, Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa, turning 10.
For families looking to join in on the celebration this summer and save money in the process, Dollywood is offering discounts, including:
Dollywood: Guests who buy four (4) one-day tickets to Dollywood will only pay for three tickets, saving $92 plus tax. The offer is valid on tickets from now through July 27.
Dollywood’s Splash Country: Guests who buy four (4) or more tickets to Splash Country will pay $40 per ticket plus tax, a savings of up to $15.95 each. The offer is valid for one visit within five operating days of the date selected. Additionally, the water park is offering public employees (military, first responders, medical staff, teachers and other public employees) admission for $29.95 plus tax for up to six (6) one-day tickets from now through July 31.
Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa: Guests who book a room from now through September 10 at DreamMore Resort will receive two (2) complimentary one-day child admission tickets to Dollywood with the purchase of two (2) one-day adult tickets on the Stay & Play Package. Plus, resort guests get added benefits including no resort fees, complimentary TimeSaver Passes, complimentary Trolley Service to and from the park, and more. The package is also available at Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort.
For summer fun, the Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration continues through Aug. 3. Features include:

Introduction of an anniversary tribute drone and fireworks show each night with more drones than ever.
Return of favorite shows like “Gazillion Bubble Show: Evolution” and “Chris Perondi’s Stunt Dog Experience.”
Opportunities to see the new show, “Play On,” Imagination Playhouse features, dine at Wilderness Pass Restaurant and catch a remastered “Heartsong: The Movie” at Dreamsong Theater in The Dolly Parton Experience. The movie will run in the theater in conjunction with “Heidi Parton’s Kin & Friends.”

Weird, Wacky & Wild South is written by Cheré Dastugue Coen who loves visiting Dollywood as much as she adores the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. She and her husband Bruce visited in 2024 and got a chance to see one of their favorite people, Dolly Parton.
